Kennedy Harper is an illustrator and painter from Columbus, Georgia. With a B.F.A., her portfolio comprises narratively driven works influenced by Baroque painters and contemporary comic artists. She has developed a borderline obsession with inventing worlds, characters, and stories, and transforming them into visual creations. Harper has gained years of experience creating illustrations, working as an illustrator for Columbus State University’s magazine The Uproar, interning as a graphic-novel illustrator, and developing two graphic novels of her own. She has shown her work in numerous student juried exhibitions, the Arden Literary Magazine, and the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) art exhibition. Harper’s achievements include winning first place in a portrait drawing competition and second place in the PBC exhibition.
