Kennedy Harper is a painter and illustrator born and raised in Georgia. She is pursuing her B.F.A. with a focus on Painting at Columbus State University. Harper’s artwork consists of narratively driven paintings and illustrations based on her dreams, thoughts, and convictions. Her works often feature a primary figure, bathed in light, engaged in a motion or moment. Several exhibitions housed Harper’s work, the most recent being the Department of Art Juried Exhibition and the Strange Salad Exhibition at Columbus State University. She has also won first prize in a portrait drawing competition in Georgia. Harper is currently an illustrator for The Uproar: Columbus State University’s award-winning student magazine.
